Member of the Week
Wyatt Grover
Year and major: Sophomore, Computer Engineering
Involvement with IEEE: OPS Project Lead and DAV kid
Hobbies: Paddle boarding, crocheting, drawing, Dungeons & Dragons, watching movies and cartoons, listening to too much music
Favorite memory with IEEE: Too many... but maybe the beach bonfire with USC, it was a nice opportunity to meet new people and get closer with the people I already knew! I also just love the beach so body surfing, digging holes, and eating great food with great friends was just a huge plus!
Your most useless talent or fun fact: I once listened to "Hooked on a Feeling" 55 times straight, I still can't tell you the lyrics beyond the intro.
Favorite Artist, Song, or Album: Currently: Chromakopia by Tyler, the Creator, Of All Time: Once in a Long, Long While... by Low Roar
What are you most excited for right now: The new year just in general! It sounds cliche but I love the energy of renewal and self improvement that people bring into the new year! This year I'm trying to watch more movies and just consume more art that makes me think in general. So to be as unspecific as possible I'm just excited for life in general, there's so much to experience and I want to do it all!
Piece of advice to our readers: My advice for life in general is to spread love and joy whenever you can. It feels like it's repeated ad nauseum but it's a message I try to live by. Not to say to force yourself to be happy, allow yourself to be sad and all other emotions. But when you feel joy express it so that it can be felt by all those around you. I can't tell you how many times my day has been made by someone who just went slightly out of there way to help me out. It's just a reminder that we truly are never alone and love will never leave us.
