Justin Yao
Year and major: Senior, Electrical Engineering
Involvement with IEEE: Pocket Racers Lead
Hobbies: Chess, fishing, video games. Writing???
Favorite memory with IEEE: Probably my first lecture with all the Pocket Racers students, that was a blast! I think we might do something similar this quarter.
Your most useless talent or fun fact: i know a lot of history. its not very useful.
What you would be doing if time and money were not an issue: This might be weird, but I think I would just want to teach. I don't really mind how it comes about, but I think I would enjoy it
Piece of advice to our readers: If you are coding with Python you should use miniconda and set up virtual environments to do some package version control. I really wish someone told me that. If you don't code with Python, here's a different piece of advice: if you have a hard time making a decision in life, flip a coin, and gaslight yourself before you flip it that you will do whatever the coin says. If it lands on an undesirable outcome, overcome your gaslighting and pick the other option. If the only result of your experiment is that both options are undesirable, try to improve the options or seek other ones
