Member of the Week
Claire Huang
Year and major: Junior, Computer Science Engineering
Involvement with IEEE: I was publicity last year and a DAV partaker, and this year, I’m a DAV lead! I have also been a GB leader with Theo for both years.
Hobbies: Writing, drawing, a lot of video games
Favorite memory with IEEE: Teaching my very first DAV lecture with Prem! The mock lectures afterwards was a ton of fun too!
Your most useless talent or fun fact: I can crack / pop my elbows
What you would be doing if time and money were not an issue: Getting better at all the things I want to get better at - learning languages, learning more instruments, building cool stuff. Also spending lots of time with friends and family.
Piece of advice to our readers: Something I say a lot is that if you try your best, then you’ll have no regrets no matter the outcome. That’s a lie. Sometimes you try your best and it feels like it’s not enough, or sometimes you work really hard and it feels like nothing happens. So perhaps the advice I will give is that if you learn how to let go of things that are not under your control, you will be a lot happier.
