Member of the Week
Ethan Lai
Year and major: Sophomore, Electrical Engineering
Involvement with IEEE: Outreach and Web Committees, GB Lead (shoutout ThirtIEEEn Directions!), DAV 23-24, OPS 22-23
Hobbies: Playing the viola and piano, reading, solving puzzles
Favorite memory with IEEE: Rising Stars! Hanging out with friends, meeting new people, and exploring the chaos that is Vegas were definitely the highlights of the trip.
Your most useless talent or fun fact: I can solve a Rubik's cube in under 10 seconds :)
What you would be doing if time and money were not an issue: Roadtripping/exploring different cities. I like driving down a random street and seeing where it takes me, it's quite relaxing.
Piece of advice to our readers: Patience is key. Most things worth doing will not be achieved immediately and without setbacks, no matter how intensely you work. Slow down and enjoy the moment, take care of yourself and spend time with the people you care about. Trust that, as long as you're trying your best every day, good things will come :))
