Member of the Week
Zayyir Ahmed
Year and major: Junior, Electrical Engineering
Involvement with IEEE: WRAP Lead & GB kid! Member of OPS, DAV & WRAP.
Hobbies: Impedance Matching & Wrapping (I like going on hikes and want to relearn crochet & the guitar lmao) I also like cooking but tbh have no clue what I'm doing lul
Favorite memory with IEEE: Hanging out with all the verIEEE cool and brilliant people in the club! There's no one particular memory I have, its just a large grouping of fun times with a great group of people.
Your most useless talent or fun fact: Two RF dudes walk into a Spanish RF bar, what happens? "Gracias por igualar la impedancia conmigo, amigo mío."
What you would be doing if time and money were not an issue: Traveling the world, trying out different food, learning hobbies like sewing, impedance matching.
Piece of advice to our readers: Grades do not define you. This advice is parroted a lot and for good reason, at the end of the day its up to you to determine your self-worth, not a transcript, hence why its called "self-worth". Sometimes sacrifices have to be made and that's okay, all decisions have pros and cons to them and at some point you'll look back and realize how inconsequential a lot of things in college you may stress over now are to your future. Also joining WRAP gives you +10 cool points (I don't make the rules :D).
