Member of the Week
Nabeel Shahid
Year and major: Senior, Electrical Engineering
Involvement with IEEE: OPS & WRAP
Hobbies: Video games, comics, drawing, badminton, beach
Favorite memory with IEEE: My favorite memoriEEE would be WRAP Saturdays. Although I don’t miss solder fumes, I really enjoyed working with the team on each iteration of the WRAP system. I’m very excited to see if we can send two characters this time.
Your most useless talent or fun fact: This isn’t a fact about me, but hyenas are actually more closely related to cats than dogs.
What you would be doing if time and money were not an issue: I’m interested in architecture and historical buildings, so if I could, I’d go see some of those places around the world. I especially want to visit a few coastal European cities, like Venice, Valletta, and Barcelona. Colorful buildings alongside the beach is one of my favorite sceneries.
Piece of advice to our readers: Be mindful that the squirrels here can be very bold.
