IEEE’s Alumni Mentorship Program (AMP) Sign-up!
The Alumni Mentorship Program applications are now open to all IEEE members! This program aims to inspire current IEEE members through the guidance of IEEE alumni from Electrical Engineering and Computer Science fields. You will be matched to a mentor who can best provide advice on what you need, and get to know other mentees with similar goals/interests as you.

Parsa Hamidi
Year and major: Senior, Electrical Engineering
Involvement with IEEE: OPS and WRAP :)
Hobbies: Playing soccer, exploring new restaurants and coffee shops with my friends, and messing around in the kitchen trying new recipes
Favorite memory with IEEE: Super random but walking into the IEEE lab this quarter and seeing Seth and Sanjit testing their Tesla coil. It was really funny and cool to see and was a nice snapshot of all the shenanigans in the lab.
Your most useless talent or fun fact: I learned how to juggle in 7th grade and am still pretty nice with it
Favorite Artist, Song, or Album: Fav album: Getz / Gilberto
What are you most excited for right now: I've really been enjoying WRAP this quarter and I'm super excited to keep learning and pushing through it to see how the whole project turns out.
Piece of advice to our readers: UCLA can be a pretty big and overwhelming place, but I've found that having a good group of people to go through the ups and downs with makes navigating college and life as a whole much easier and way more enjoyable.
