This week on Friday, we will be going there again to be a part of their Ipoduino competition. Please let Ryan, our outreach coordinator, know if you would like to come!

Ryan Tien

Hobbies: Basketball, going to beach, watching MCU content, sunset chasing, playing guitar
Favorite memory with IEEE: I have couple! Lake Arrowhead retreat with officer board, all of the El Camino College Workshops, Daviokeee
Your most useless talent or fun fact: I got a 2 on AP Euro
What you would be doing if time and money were not an issue: Traveling the world with friends, would love to go to Eastern Europe, Africa, or South America
Piece of advice to our readers: Meet as many people as you can. I cannot stress this enough, the more people you meet, the more perspectives you gain, the more broad your worldview becomes, and the more you get to shape your own identity. We all come to college to find out more about ourselves, what we like, we what we don't like, who we we agree with, who we vibe with, etc. You can't find any of these answers by staying in your own bubble. So step out of it once in a while.
Go out, have some fun, learn something different, take risks. Apply for that internship. Ask that person out. Go to that festival. Get Denny's at 2 AM. Stop doubting and embrace the uncertainty.
And lastly, be grateful, for everything that you have. I guarantee you, gratitude can lead to greater happiness.
