Opportunities
Join the Outreach Committee!
Join the Outreach Committee! The purpose of this committee is to give back to our local community by providing resources and support in the form of workshops, panels, and exhibitions. If you are interested in helping students from local high schools and community colleges learn technical ECE skills, or speaking to prospective students at panels, consider joining the ECE Outreach Committee!
The interest form can be found here.
We already have some workshops and exhibits lined up for the upcoming school year, and we're really excited to see how we can impact the community around us. This committee is low commitment (you won't get kicked out if you don't attend an event), so don't worry about not having enough time, we would be happy if you can help out whenever you can!
Please feel free to ask Ryan, our Outreach Coordinator, or email outreach@ieeebruins.com if you have any questions regarding the committee.
Member of the Week
Arunan Elamaran
Year and major: Freshman, Electrical Engineering
Involvement with IEEE: Micromouse, Team 22 Member
Hobbies: Building/creating things (Legos, robots, etc.), biking, photography, spending time with friends
Favorite memory with IEEE: I always enjoy going to the lab and watching and joining in on all the fun and orderly chaos unfolding (while also getting work done of course).
Your most useless talent or fun fact: I love Legos and Star Wars. I have watched all the Star Wars movies multiple times and the Clone Wars episodes an infinite number of times. Rogue One is the best Star Wars movie.
What you would be doing if time and money were not an issue: I would be traveling around the world, exploring the beautiful landscapes and learning about all the diverse cultures. I would also just love to spend more time with family, relatives, and friends : )
Piece of advice to our readers: Work hard, but ALWAYS make sure to take care of yourself. By being happy and enjoying your life (and what you are doing and who you are with), you will find much greater success and productivity than you would otherwise. You only live once, so live your life to fullest and happiest you can make it : )

third way: just the tail
Making pants just for the back legs would be so much easier than making them for all 4 legs imo
