Opportunities
Join the Outreach Committee!
Join the Outreach Committee! The purpose of this committee is to give back to our local community by providing resources and support in the form of workshops, panels, and exhibitions. If you are interested in helping students from local high schools and community colleges learn technical ECE skills, or speaking to prospective students at panels, consider joining the ECE Outreach Committee!
The interest form can be found here.
We already have some workshops and exhibits lined up for the upcoming school year, and we're really excited to see how we can impact the community around us. This committee is low commitment (you won't get kicked out if you don't attend an event), so don't worry about not having enough time, we would be happy if you can help out whenever you can!
Please feel free to ask Ryan, our Outreach Coordinator, or email outreach@ieeebruins.com if you have any questions regarding the committee.

Member of the Week
Jacqueline Duong
Year and major: Sophomore, Electrical Engineering
Involvement with IEEE: Micromouse member, events coordinator
Hobbies: Tennis and drinking boba
Favorite memory with IEEE: Watching our micromouse snake around the maze until it finished successfully :). Also getting dinner with my friends on the hill
Your most useless talent or fun fact: I can install quartus prime lite in under 10 minutes 😎
What you would be doing if time and money were not an issue: Drinking boba
Piece of advice to our readers: You can't earn more time. Spend the time you have wisely. Also make sure to ask other students their opinion of the professor teaching a class you want to take!! Also, it doesn’t matter how old you are, buying snacks for a road trip should always look like an unsupervised 9 year old was given $100.
