Member of the Week
Shannon Wang: OPS Ipoduino Competion Winner
Year and major: Freshman, Computer Science
Involvement with IEEE: OPS (Miriam & Eli best leads!)
Hobbies: Playing the guitar, singing, dancing
Favorite memory with IEEE: iPoduino worksession & competition, it was fun to combine my hobby (music) with EE. I also loved listening to everyone else’s music selections!
Your most useless talent or fun fact: I got a splinter in my left hand from opening chopsticks
What you would be doing if time and money were not an issue: I would learn a bunch of new instruments, and maybe have my own recording studio :D
Piece of advice to our readers: Sleep is very important! Getting enough sleep is easier said than done (unfortunately I struggle with it a lot as well) but I’ve learned that sleeping more really helps with both physical and mental well-being.
