Micromouse Design Lecture + Pizza Worksession
6:30 pm to 8:30 pm on November 21st, 2022 in the Shannon Room in Engineering IV
Started thinking about how you're gonna design the best most awesomest mouse during Winter quarter? No? Oh okay. Well even so, stop by for a quick mini-lecture on getting started designing your full mouse PCB! And that's not all! After the lecture, we will be hosting a pizza party social where you can mingle, get free food, and continue to get those mice in racing shape for our fall rat competition at the end of the quarter!

Join the Outreach Committee!
Join the Outreach Committee! The purpose of this committee is to give back to our local community by providing resources and support in the form of workshops, panels, and exhibitions. If you are interested in helping students from local high schools and community colleges learn technical ECE skills, or speaking to prospective students at panels, consider joining the ECE Outreach Committee!
The interest form can be found here.
We already have some workshops and exhibits lined up for the upcoming school year, and we're really excited to see how we can impact the community around us. This committee is low commitment (you won't get kicked out if you don't attend an event), so don't worry about not having enough time, we would be happy if you can help out whenever you can!
Please feel free to ask Ryan, our Outreach Coordinator, or email outreach@ieeebruins.com if you have any questions regarding the committee.

Member of the Week
Paul Zhang
Year and major: Sophomore, Computer Science
Involvement with IEEE: Webmaster, Pocket Racers
Hobbies: Reading and writing (both software and creatively).
Favorite memory with IEEE: Literally every officer meeting. :D Especially Cameron wearing sunglasses and balloon ears. 🎈😎💠(Refer to the 10-24-2022 meeting agenda).
Your most useless talent or fun fact: I dressed up as a crab for a Halloween.......and got called a reindeer.
What you would be doing if time and money were not an issue: Elon Musk should give me his $44 billion so I can pay to tear down Boelter/Math Sci and rename it [REDACTED].
Piece of advice to our readers: Be happy with yourself! As in: Get validation from yourself, not other people. Know your own needs, independently of how other people think. "No one wants the burden of being the answer to your dissatisfication. When you’re unsure of yourself, it’s easy to be obsessed with the idea of love—the idea that happiness will arrive when someone else loves you."
