Member of the Week

Joshua Burpee

Year and major: Freshman, Electrical Engineering

Involvement with IEEE: Avid DAVer and the Future Workshops Lead

Hobbies: I enjoy any and all sort of puzzles such as Rubik's Cubes and jigsaw puzzles. I also go camping whenever possible to enjoy and photograph the outdoors.

Favorite memory with IEEE: Shoutout to all of the members of the Best GB: WASTE! All of the breakfasts, lunches, and dinner throughout the year really were the highlight of the year in IEEE.

Your most useless talent or fun fact: No matter where on campus you need to go, I can find a weird and oddly random path that gets us there faster.

What you would be doing if time and money were not an issue: Living life in the slow lane, taking a moment to appreciate the world around me and always deciding to take the scenic route, both for pictures and a good time.

Piece of advice to our readers: Success is not perfection, success is putting in the effort and being proud of the work you have done. Failure is not making mistakes or falling down, failure is giving up on trying. No matter what, successes or failures, you are enough!
